Others Efforts

Beside Dunes City's previous efforts in using the precautionary principle to help solve problems before becoming burdens on the citizenry, other cities, counties and states have provided preventive ways in enacting cooperative  steps so that costly make-goods do not become the norm.

Considerations for Woahink Lake.

  • Coastal lake

  • Soils are extremely porous

  • Extreme wind and rain conditions

  • Carrying capacity

  • Septic inspections incomplete a/o October 2011   (Florence Oregon taxes)
