The
Planning Commission meeting was called to order by Chairman Lee Riechel at
2:04 pm

Roll
Call
Roll Call was
taken by Chairman Lee Riechel.
Present:
Chairman Lee Riechel, Vice-Chairman George Burke, Commissioner Darlene
Beckman, Commissioner Ken Henderson and Commissioner Norman Martin.
Absent:
Commissioner Paul Gargis (excused).
Others
Present: Road Commissioner
Bill Harris and City Recorder Fred Hilden.

Pledge of Allegiance
All
who were present stood for the Pledge of Allegiance.

Approval of the
Agenda
Commissioner Beckman made a motion to
approve the Agenda as presented.
Commissioner Henderson seconded the motion. The motion passed by unanimous
vote.
5.
Consent Agenda
City
Recorder Fred Hilden commented that the minutes of the
September 6, 2011
meeting should have included under “Announcements/Correspondence” that
he (
Hilden
) provided an update on annexation requests received by the City.
Commissioner Beckman made a motion to
approve the minutes of
September 6, 2011
on the Consent Agenda as amended.
Commissioner Burke seconded the motion. The motion passed by a vote of 3
ayes, 0 nays and 1 abstain (Commissioner Martin).

Correspondence – None
Chairman
Riechel announced that all Planning Commission meetings are recorded on
tape, including the break periods, and he advised all members to be
sensitive to this when making comments.

Business
·
Chairman Riechel handed out his proposed revisions to the
Standards for Placement (155.2.3.200). After a brief review by the
Planning Commission mostly focused on the word “normal,”
(perpendicular), it was decided that Chairman Riechel should rework the
document and resubmit it at a later date.
·
Continuation of Chapter 155.2 code revision review. The
review began at the beginning of Chapter 155.2.4 and stopped at the end of
Chapter 155.2.5.500.2.

There
being no further business to come before the Planning Commission,
Commissioner Beckman made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner
Burke seconded the
motion. The motion passed by unanimous vote.
